  CTC Tree/Shrub Feed
The "unseen" part of the tree, THE ROOTS are usually overlooked. CTC tree feed is a very inexpensive way to keep your trees healthy.
Urban environments can be very harsh for your plant life. Most of the good soil is stripped off in the property development stages. In the natural setting, many years of nutrient rich leaf decomposition makes for very good root development. That is not so in the urban setting, making nutrient additives necessary, such as CTC Tree Feed. This is a slow-release, low salt formulation of fertilizer that is injected with water at 100 psi into the root zone, following under the drip line of the tree. The high pressure is very beneficial as it aerates the root zone. Tree roots love nutrients, water and pore space (oxygen). Performed once a year, this is a very economical way to help your valuable trees & shrubs flourish. Healthy trees are able to resist pests and disease much better than struggling plants.
REMEMBER: Be careful what you put into your plant's roots; not all so-called "fertilizers" are helpful. DO NOT use fertilizers with high salt content, as the fragile root hairs can be easily damaged.

Did you know that FALL is a very good time to fertilize? Just as trees are going dormant, their roots are actively storing up nutrients. At this time of year, however, avoid using fertilizers with any quick release Nitrogen.
We fertilize from when the frost is out of the ground in the SPRING to usually OCTOBER. Our fertilizer is slow-release so it is feeding throughout the entire season when the soil is warm and is stored in the ground until the soil warms again.

REMEMBER: HEALTHY ROOTS = HEALTHY TREES!
